One of the objectives of the Wavertree Charitable Trust is to advance education through the provision of public access to the National Stud’s premises and facilities. Net proceeds from the tours are used to advance the aims of the Wavertree Charitable Trust.
Tours of the Stud take place daily from 1st March to 30th September inclusive and on Newmarket racedays in October. Special arrangements can be made for individuals and organised parties to see behind the scenes of one of the most prestigious stud farms in the country.
What you can see on your visit depends on the season, but the tour takes in the superb stallion unit, along with the stallions in residence, nursery yards and mares and foals in their paddocks. Each tour lasts for approximately 75 minutes - visitors are advised to arrive 10 minutes before the tour is due to start.
A guided tour makes a great visit for all the family.
